Eucalypt Leaves 2 is the second painting in a 2 piece original set of acrylic artworks on watercolour paper.

This painting came about with an intuitive layering of paint and mark making which was then covered with black in a negative painting exercise.

What evolved is a colourful leaf study that is made to pop with the use of black.

This painting works well with Eucalypt Leaves 1 as pictured in the Insitu photos.

These would look striking with a larger than the artwork frame to make them stand out more.

They are colourful but not too extreme.

Perfect for someone who wants to introduce a bit of colour without being too bright.
