The 4 Cave Abstracts is an original artwork on 300gsm watercolour paper, created using professional acrylic paints.

This painting was inspired by a photo of a huge cave with a waterfall.

I love colour and the original reference photo had some, but I decided to play around with it a little.

Then I sought out areas that looked more interesting. I zoomed into those, cropped them and my abstracts became those little snippets of a photo.

This is such a great method and is so inspiring.

This abstract is about providing a colour pop in a room and creating great interest.

My art is all about colour and form especially when it is predominantly abstract.

I do love to experiment and introduce some glazing to create colour differences.

This is a particularly interesting way of interpreting a photo of meaning.

This painting is sealed to protect.
