Lockdown Larry is an original artwork and is a quirky rendition of an owl.

I has been painted on professional 300gsm watercolour paper, created using acrylic paints.

This owl is just staring straight ahead, as if it just doesn’t know what just hit him.

As I live in Melbourne, this owl just had to be shared. He is a product of lockdown. All sides of it.

Whilst I found him humourous, I’m totally aware of the devastation that has occurred with these events.

I believe we need to keep our humour if we can, keep ourselves filled with gratitude and joy, for if we don’t, we succumb to the despair that is prevalent.

Art in my opinion, can be used to lift us, keep us smiling or laughing or just feeling good.

This painting would be a great addition to a home office or a spot where some uncomfortable staring would be funny.
