Let Us Begin – Original Paper Art
This Little bird is an original painting on 300gsm watercolour paper.
This is a fluid type application with brushstroke movements created using professional acrylic inks and acrylic paint pens.
Life can be quite complicated and we sometimes overthink things. This painting is all about looking up and beginning again.
We need to begin from wherever we are. It is always a good time to begin again. Look up, take a breath and begin. It’s as easy as that.
I do love birds and so this is a natural intuitive painting for me and a way to express myself. It is a bird of the imagination, the best kind.
The artwork on this bird is full of organic shapes and movement. There is beautiful pattern work which I use as a mindfulness exercise.
The colours of turquoise, orange, brown and paynes grey all merge with movement and hope.
This bird is the perfect piece of art for a study or a space of reflection. It is uplifting and sends a clear message of hope.
